WHY the members of World Mission Society Church of God (WMSCOG) believe in "God the Mother" as well as God the Father? I thinks many of you are wondering the same thing.
It seems that breaking the stereotypes and common notion like "God exist as God the Father only " may takes a long time.
But in the God's point of View , the many people's this fixed ides is wrong.
The answer of this matter is very easy and clear when we look see through the Bible, the words of God.

The World Mission Society Church of God believes in God the Father and "God the Mother" according to the Bible _WMSCOG
Whenever We (WMSCOG) say that we believe in "God the Mother" as well as God the Father, many people are surprised to hear that. It is because they have some common stereotypes and conventional way of thinking about God.
One of things that many people misunderstand about the Bible is that there is only God the Father. However, the Bible clearly reveals that there exists "God the Mother" as well God the Father from the first page of the Bible.
Then God said, "Let us make man in our image, in our likeness, and let them rule over the fish of the sea...." So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them. (Genesis 1:26-27)
If there is only one God, God the Father, it should read ‘my image’ not ‘our image.’ In addition, only ‘male’ should have been created in the image of God the Father. But, is there only male created in the image of God? Isn’t there also ‘female’?
The fact that male and female were created in the image of God is the evidence that God’s image includes God the Father and "God the Mother". It’s very important to know the existence of God the Father and "God the Mother" because it’s prophesied that God the Father and "God the Mother" are to appear to give us the water of life in the last days.
The Spirit [God the Father] and the bride ["God the Mother"] say, "Come!" And let him who hears say, "Come!" Whoever is thirsty, let him come; and whoever wishes, let him take the free gift of the water of life. (Revelation 22:17)
Those who have met God the Father and "God the Mother" can receive the water of life. People who only know God the Father do not know God whom we must press on to know. The World Mission Society Church of God (WMSCOG) receives the water of life from the Spirit and the bride according to the words of the Bible.

Children is Mother's everything - About our Heavenly Mother
Mom’s dream
In my mom’s cell phone, my number is saved in the name of “my dream”.
One day, I asked her with some curiosity, “Mom, why did you save my number like that?” “My girl is mom’s everything. Her life is my life and she is my dream and that is why I did it.”
When I feel pleased, so does she, and when I feel sad, she feels more sorrowful.
I must be mom’s everything and her only hope for sure.
Also our Heavenly Mother!!
We are Heavenly Mother's dream and her everything
Because she came to the earth from heaven to save us in the flesh
So we try to be always pleased that makes our Heavenly Mother pleased

The Feast of Unleavened Bread in the New Testament times
-World Mission Society Church Of God Which keeps the The Feast of Unleavened Bread-
If the Feast of Unleavened Bread in the Old Testament times is the feast to remember the hardships at the time of the Exodus, the Feast of the Unleavened Bread in the New Testament times is celebrated to remember Christ’s sufferings on the cross. So, Jesus said, “But the time will come when the bridegroom will be taken from them, and on that day they will fast (Matthew 9:15, Mark 2:20, Luke 5:35).
In the Bible, the bridegroom indicates Jesus. The day when Jesus suffered and died on the cross was the Feast of Unleavened Bread the day after the Passover, namely the day when the bridegroom was taken. It was on the fifteenth day of the first month according to the sacred calendar. This is why all Christians in the new covenant hold worship and fast on the Feast of Unleavened Bread every year, to remember Christ’s true love; His infinite love enduring all hardships to save all mankind
Acts 20:6 But we sailed from Philippi after the Feast of Unleavened Bread, and five days later joined the others at Troas, where we stayed seven days.
Paul, Luke and his parity celebrated the Feast of Unleavened Bread while staying in Philippi, one of the regions of Macedonia. The word, ‘we sailed from Philippi after the Feast of Unleavened Bread’ represents that they kept the Feast of Unleavened Bread in Philippi and then left.
Jesus said to the Jews, “"If you were Abraham's children," "then you would do the things Abraham did.” This can be interpreted that those who do not do the things Abraham did are not Abraham’s children. The members of the Early Church were given the name, ‘Christian’, for they not only believed Jesus Christ sincerely but kept a pure faith following the teachings of Christ.
If we are true Christians, then we should do the things Christ did. Only those who participate in fasting on the Feast of Unleavened Bread when the bridegroom was taken are true. Christ died on the cross after eating the last supper of the Passover. Christ became the sacrificial offering according to the feast. The Feast of Unleavened Bread is a very precious law of Christ which the disciples and saints of the Early Church kept.
According to this teaching of Jesus, WMSCOG keeps the The Feast of Unleavened Bread.

Feeding children is one of happiest things to parents
When they have their children
Then they realize the depth and highest of their parent's love
And give the love taken from their parents to their children
It’s been a long time since all my relatives got together. One cousin confessed that he could understand parent’s hearts after getting married and my parents said a few words to him.
“Do you know when is the happiest moment for parents? When the food that they made with love and care goes into children’s mouth, it pleases them the most.”
This remark gave me a lot to think about. Our spiritual parents also would feel the most pleased when Their children eat and drink the bread and wine of the Passover that They allowed to us.
We should not forget our Parents’ mind.
“And he said to them, I have eagerly desired to eat this Passover with you before I suffer.” (Luke 22:15)

Between decision and action - Mother's love and daughter's love
Mother's love for her children doesn't care about anything, whoever, whatever, whenever, wherever
But daughter's love different
Here is a story about daughter' regret
But daughter's love different
Here is a story about daughter' regret
Forgetting at an
instant
For a long
time, my mom all alone raised us; four daughters.
Looking back
at those years, I don’t know how she managed to raise us up all by
herself.
I
cannot even conceive the idea of raising four children all by myself, but I
guess it was all possible for her because she was my mom.
Few years
ago, my mom had a big surgery.
Though she
had to rest, because of the wretched circumstances, she just had to work
strenuously.
Though we all
grew up and became adults, since we were busy, we didn’t know or
forgot how strenuous it was for her.
When mom
comes home from work, she starts doing the housework right away.
After then,
she comes to my room and talks about her daily routine.
She isn’t a talk-active person, but these days she
frequently stops by and talks to me a lot.
I really
wanted to be nice to her, but I was exhausted. So I tend to listen to her
vacantly.
Seeing how I
reacted, she would quickly end her conversation and leave my room.
When this
happens, I feel sorry for her.
I always make
a resolution that I wouldn’t repeat this mistake again, but it happens to me all
the time.
One day,
seeing her leaving my room, her shoulders seemed so small.
When I and my
sisters were young, she didn’t have a moment to talk with us.
That is why
we always went to her to talk with her.
Whenever we
did, she never showed how tired she was.
She always
listened to all what we have said, but I didn’t.
Few days ago,
my mom said that she had pain in her arms and legs.
I just told
her to “go to the hospital,” and when she repeatedly said that every day, I
started to ignore.
When I started to think lying down my bed, it reminded
me that my mom had a surgery for cancer.
I forgot that
she wasn’t a healthy person at all.
I felt
ashamed that I just told her to go to the hospital.
During break
time in my working place, I started to search for good medicine and food for my
mom.
Thinking that
I simply just needed to turn on the computer and type some words, I felt so
sorry.
The reason
how I could grow up without any trouble was because of my mom’s sacrifice.
And
I…
I always
forgot about her when I turned my back, went to work, and while I was having a
hard time.
At this
moment, Heavenly Mother is also next to me, praying for me continuously every
day, every second.
But I always
forgot.
Just because
of the world that I am living in, because I was busy, because I was
exhausted…
I just forgot
about Her.
About Heavenly Mother who came down to this earth, who is sacrificing for
me.
I truly want
to be a filial daughter for my mom and to my Heavenly Mother.
I want to be
a filial daughter who gives joy, happiness, and
smiles.

Do we have to worship a wall of a city?
…and give him no rest till he establishes Jerusalem and makes her the praise of the earth. (Isaiah 62:7)
At a glance, some might think the above verse is about a prophecy that God will build the city of Jerusalem. But it’s just a fragmented understanding. If we look at the mate of this verse in the Scriptures, we can understand the meaning behind it.
But the Jerusalem that is above is free, and she is our mother. (Galatians 4:26)
A long ago time, the prophet Isaiah prophesied that God would establish Heavenly Mother just as Adam had named his wife ‘Eve’:
Adam named his wife Eve, because she would become the mother of all the living. (Genesis 3:20)
We need to know that Jerusalem recorded in the book of Isaiah does not merely refer to a city located in Palestine near the Mediterranean, but also contains a prophecy about Heavenly Mother. Those who consider Jerusalem as a mere building are to fall into a big error.
Your gates will always stand open, they will never be shut, day or night, so that men may bring you the wealth of the nations? their kings led in triumphal procession. For the nation or kingdom that will not serve you will perish; it will be utterly ruined. (Isaiah 60:11-12)
Isaiah 60 is about the future glory of Jerusalem. The word “you” above refers to the city of Jerusalem. If you think Jerusalem is just a wall of a city, which exists in Israel, it’s concluded that you should worship a building to get salvation because it’s written, “For the nation or kingdom that will not serve you will perish.”
Isn’t it strange? How can God, who forbade idolatry (Exodus 20:4), command us to worship a wall of a city? Such an error occurs because people consider Jerusalem as a mere city. They will result in destruction according to the warning of God regarding those who distort the Bible to their own destruction (2 Peter 3:16.)
One of the seven angels who had the seven bowls full of the seven last plagues came and said to me, “Come, I will show you the bride, the wife of the Lamb.” 10 And he carried me away in the Spirit to a mountain great and high, and showed me the Holy City, Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God. (Revelation 21:9-10)
Jerusalem in the Bible stands for Heavenly Mother, who gives us the water of life in this age as the wife of the Lamb.

Love is “Waiting - About Elohim God
Anybody may have memories about their patents' love for children
Parents Love is patient, kind, warm, strong, trust...
One of parents' Love is “Waiting”
Here is an article about parents' love
Here we go
Love is “Waiting
When I was in elementary school, I always tried to memorize the multiplication tables after supper.
Day by day, I would go and on memorizing after school.
Finally, it was the day when I succeeded.
My parents were full of smiles, and I was really proud of myself.
Since I was a slow learner, being anxious, I would always complain to my parents.
My parents would then just smile and pat my shoulders.
Looking at my exam papers full of red marks just like a red shower, they would have been more anxious than me thinking, "What if my child is way behind others?"
But they would never push me to study, but waited until I did well by myself.
Thinking of how my parents in my childhood, I believe my parents' life was an “endless waiting.”
When I was in my mother's womb, they waited for me to be born for a time of 10 months.
Even when I first started to walk, when I first started to talk, they waited.
I would cry day and night and would have annoyed them, not wanting to be apart from them for even a moment.
Though I got sick frequently making them always feel anxious, all that they remembered about me was a cute little baby toddling and saying "mommy or daddy."
Though I was slow and lacking compared to other children, they would think it's their entire fault and felt sorry.
They would always take care of me as an apple of their eyes, fed me the best food, and always prayed for me to grow well.
Parents call this kind of love, "the elders' love for the young," or "parental love."
The source of this love comes from the continuous time of waiting, and from the infinite belief towards their child.
Our Heavenly Parents, who came down to this earth to find Their lost children...
Our Heavenly Parents' love is much more than that.
“Can a mother forget the baby at her breast and have no compassion on the child she has borne? Though she may forget, I will not forget you! (Isa 49:15)”
Like how it says, Heavenly Mother willingly came with lowly clothes of a sinner.
Heavenly Parents' love is so deep that they would never give up though the children are slow to realize. Their children found in the long time of waiting, for 6,000 years.
They would always cover the children's sins, always give teachings full of love, guide them to the best ways, and always praise them even for their small efforts.
Though They would never have a day without worry or concern towards Their children, They would earnestly pray for them all night long, always firmly believing that their immature children would realize.
Through all this, they would forget Their safety.
Thinking about the heart of my Heavenly Parents, I look back, if I was truly a good daughter.
Though Heavenly Father and Heavenly Mother is pleased seeing Their children uniting with each other, rather embracing my brothers and sisters with love, didn't I push them away from me just because they were different from me?
Though Heavenly Father and Heavenly Mother always waiting and endured, rather waiting for my brothers and sisters to realize, didn't I just gave up on them?
Thinking about my past, I can't lift up my head being so sorry and embarrassed to my Heavenly Parents.
Though I said I knew Their hearts, those were the days which I never really tried to put Their words into actions.
I truly thank Heavenly Father and Heavenly Mother for loving me, and waiting for a long time for this weak child to realize.
From now on, I will love my brothers and sisters, even the parts they are lacking, understand, help them, and walk the way of the gospel work which God is pleased with.

But the greatest of these is...... LOVE
For Christians, the ultimate goal of faith is salvation. To achieve this goal, the hope of the kingdom of heaven and faith based on such hope are needed. In addition, the practice of faith is the love toward God and neighbors. Therefore, love is possible only when there are the hope of the kingdom of heaven and faith behind it. God considered love as the greatest virtue of believers.
And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.(1 Corinthians 13:13)
Then, can those who have love only achieve the goal of salvation? The answer is ‘No.’ The Apostle John emphasized faith as of the most importance to get salvation. … that whoever believes in him may have eternal life. (John 3:15)
However, it’s hard to reach salvation with faith alone. Today’s Christians fall in this error. An expression of faith requires the hope of the kingdom of heaven.
so that, having been justified by his grace, we might become heirs having the hope of eternal life. (Titus 3:7)
That is, we cannot enter the kingdom of heaven without having the hope of eternal life. ‘The greatest of these are love,’ ‘whoever believes in him may have eternal life,’ ‘we might become heirs having the hope of eternal life’: Among these words, what should we follow to get salvation? Since the greatest is love, is it enough to have love alone? Or, is it okay to have only faith since it’s written, ‘whoever believes in him may have eternal life’?
We must think about organic combination among faith, hope and love. If faith and hope are missing from love, it’s not different from the one who eats sodium (Na) and chlorine (Cl) after separating salt (NaCl) into each element (Na and Cl.) When edible salt is divided into sodium and chlorine, they become harmful materials. Therefore, we can achieve the goal of salvation by practicing love based on faith and hope.
In addition, there is one thing we should remember: Love toward God must be go first with regard to the practice of love. Loving neighbors based on such love is the whole duty of Christians.
Jesus replied: ” ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.” (Matthew 22:37-40)
Are there any Christians who do not love God? However, love with lips only is not love which loves God.
If you love me, you will obey what I command. (John 14:15)
Salvation begins with obeying God’s commandments. Obeying what God commanded enables us to love Him and is the top priority of believers who wish to enter the kingdom of heaven
Christ Ahnsahnghong and God the Mother restored the God's all commandments which leads us to the kingdom of heaven. The World Mission Society Church of God is the only Church which has God's truth.

The Source of the Water of Life
In the Bible, the water of life refers to the truth of life through which we can have eternal life (Amos 8:11.) Only God has authority to give us the water of life. It was Jehovah who was the spring of living water in the age of the Father.
O LORD, the hope of Israel, all who forsake you will be put to shame. Those who turn away from you will be written in the dust because they have forsaken the LORD, the spring of living water. (Jeremiah 17:13)
However, Jesus was the source of the water of life in the age of the Son.
Jesus answered her, “If you knew the gift of God and who it is that asks you for a drink, you would have asked him and he would have given you living water.” (John 4:10)
Then, who is the spring of the living water in this last age of the Holy Spirit?
The Spirit and the bride say, “Come!” And let him who hears say, “Come!” Whoever is thirsty, let him come; and whoever wishes, let him take the free gift of the water of life. (Revelation 22:17)
In the age of the Father and in the age of the Son, there was only one God who was the source of the water of life respectively. But in the age of the Holy Spirit, two Gods -- the Spirit and the bride -- give us the water of life. The Holy Father, the Holy Son and the Holy Spirit are God in the Trinity. Who is the bride? Some claim that the bride is ‘the saints.’ But only God can give us the water of life.
He said to me: “It is done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. To him who is thirsty I will give to drink without cost from the spring of the water of life. He who overcomes will inherit all this, and I will be his God and he will be my son. (Revelation 21:6-7)
It is our God who gives to drink without cost from the spring of the water of life. Therefore, it’s a false claim that the bride is the saints. Then, who is the bride who gives us the water of life in the last days.
One of the seven angels who had the seven bowls full of the seven last plagues came and said to me, “Come, I will show you the bride, the wife of the Lamb.” And he carried me away in the Spirit to a mountain great and high, and showed me the Holy City, Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God. (Revelation 21:9-10)
It’s written that the bride or the wife of the Lamb, who gives us the water of life, was Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven. Heavenly Mother has not appeared out of the blue, suddenly, all at once. The Bible testifies to God the Father and God the Mother from the first Chapter.
Then God said, “Let us make man in our image, in our likeness, and let them rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over the livestock, over all the earth, and over all the creatures that move along the ground.” So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them. (Genesis 1:26-27)
Male and female were created in the image of God, which proves that God the Father and God the Mother exist in God’s image. And in the last page of the Bible, it’s prophesied that the Spirit and the bride will give us the water of life. Obviously, the water of life cannot be found in the churches that do not know the Spirit and the bride in this age when the Spirit and the bride give us the water of life. The World Mission Society Church of God (WMSCOG) believes in God the Father and God the Mother who have come as the Spirit and the bride according to the prophecies of the Bible, and preaches the truth of eternal life or the water of life.

Who is The Source of the Water of Life?
How much is the worth of air?
How much is the worth of water?
Air and water are very important for our life
So we couldn't count the worth of them
How about the water of life which giving us eternal life?
And who give it to us?
Let's take a look
In the Bible,
the water of life refers to the truth of life through which we can have eternal
life (Amos 8:11.) Only God has authority to give us the water of life. It was
Jehovah who was the spring of living water in the age of the Father.

her, “If you knew the gift of God and who it is that asks you for a drink, you
would have asked him and he would have given you living water.” (John

Then, who is the
spring of the living water in this last age of the Holy Spirit?
The Spirit and
the bride say, “Come!” And let him who hears say, “Come!” Whoever is thirsty,
let him come; and whoever wishes, let him take the free gift of the water of
life. (Revelation 22:17)

be my son. (Revelation 21:6-7)
It is our God
who gives to drink without cost from the spring of the water of life. Therefore,
it’s a false claim that the bride is the saints. Then, who is the bride who

Then God said,
“Let us make man in our image, in our likeness, and let them rule over the fish
of the sea and the birds of the air, over the livestock, over all the earth, and
over all the creatures that move along the ground.” So God created man in his
own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them.
(Genesis 1:26-27)
Male and female
were created in the image of God, which proves that God the Father and God the
Mother exist in God’s image. And in the last page of the Bible, it’s prophesied
that the Spirit and the bride will give us the water of life. Obviously, the
water of life cannot be found in the churches that do not know the Spirit and
the bride in this age when the Spirit and the bride give us the water of life.
The World Mission Society Church of God (WMSCOG) believes in God the Father and God the Mother who have come as the Spirit and the bride according to the
prophecies of the Bible, and preaches the truth of eternal life or the water of
life.

Saturday or Sunday? -About Sabbath, the Fourth Commandment
What day is Lord's day?
What day is Lord's day which Christian say?
What day is Lord's day which Jesus says?
Same day or not? Let's find it out
Jesus is the Lord of the Sabbath
There are those who are not willing to be invited to a wedding
ceremony or other events on Sunday. They have to go to church. They consider
"observing the Lord's Day" as their first value and worship on Sundays. It is
quite praiseworthy thing that they value worship. However, there is something
wrong. Biblically, the worship day is not Sunday but Saturday. Those who mention
“the Lord’s Day” frequently cite the following verses:
On the Lord's Day I
was in the Spirit… (Revelation 1:10)
They insist that the Lord’ Day is Sunday, knowing the fact that there isn’t a single verse about worship on Sunday. Then, when is the Lord’s Day?
For the Son of Man is Lord of the Sabbath. (Matthew 12:8; Mark 2:28; Luke 6:5)
Jesus is the Lord of the Sabbath. Therefore, the “Sabbath” is the Lord’s Day. You know, the Sabbath is Saturday in our current calendar system. We just need to worship on Saturday because God commanded us to give services on Saturday. Why do they dare do against the will of God by inventing Sunday?
Remember the Sabbath day by keeping it holy (Exodus 20:8)
God commanded God’s people to keep the Sabbath holy as the Fourth Commandment. He has never said that Sunday is “My day.” Please remember: the Sabbath is the Lord’s Day.

THE LOVE OF SACRIFICE THAT SAVED LIFE
The power of love is great. In particular, the stories about parents who sacrificed themselves to save their children move many people, transcending ages and regions.
Great Earthquake in Sichuan, China, on May 12, 2008
During the rescue operation at a collapsed house in Beichuan, Sichuan, China, rescuers found a dead woman who was lying with her baby in her arms.
It looked like she had made a desperate effort to save her baby, blocking the falling house with her whole body. The baby was breathing comfortably in her arms. The rescuers discovered a cell phone in the baby's blanket while transporting the baby to a hospital.
A short message was left on her cell phone as follows: "My precious daughter, if you survive, please remember that your mom loved you." Looking at this message, everybody burst into tears. The great love of the mother, who sacrificed herself, saved her child
How could we explain the great love of our heavenly mother's sacrifice?
How could we thank to her about her love?
We love you Heavenly Mother, thanks you are our Mother

Look for the answer about When, Who and What!!
Right now, Right here
Many people live their life eagerly
For the money, for the authority, for the honor
In this age, what is the most important thing we have to do? What is the most worth thing we live for
What is that makes us no regret when we are dead. We have to look for the answer
Because the life is once.
"The Three Questions"
There is a short story titled "The Three Questions" written by Leo Tolstoy, the great Russian writer. Let me give you a brief recap of the story.
There was a certain king in a country. Administering the affairs of the country, he came across these three questions: First, when is the most suitable time to do something? Second, who is the most important person to me? Third, what is the most important thing to do? The king summoned his officials to give him the answers, but they were only divided in their opinion and none of them gave him an answer that satisfied him.
The king became distressed and went to a wise man who was living a secluded life. He explained to the wise man why he was visiting him and asked him to give the answers to his three questions. However, the wise man ignored what the king said and just kept plowing the field. The king did not give up and waited for him to answer, standing beside him. Suddenly a young man ran out of the woods, with his clothes torn and his whole body covered in blood, and fell in front of the king. Startled, the king tore off his own clothing into strips, wrapped up the young man's wounds and took good care of him.
Some time later, the young man regained consciousness and told the king that he had actually entertained a grudge against the king and hid in the bush while trying to kill him, but he was detected by the guards and was wounded. He said he was touched by the kindness which the king showed to him that day and decided to devote his body and soul to the king as a faithful servant, being thankful to him from the bottom of his heart.
Then the wise man, who had kept silent, told the king that he already had the answers to the three questions. The king did not understand what the wise man said and asked him what he meant by that.
The wise man told him, "The most suitable time is now, this very moment. If we did not have this moment called ‘now,' we would be unable to look ahead into our future or build it. So, the most appropriate time for everything is not tomorrow but right now, this very moment." When the king treated the bleeding young man who ran out the woods, it was not something that could be postponed. Likewise, going into action in a situation right away?this was the answer of the wise man to the king's question?"What is the most suitable time for everything?"
This was very agreeable to the king. And to the second question?"Who is the most important person to me?" the wise man answered, "The most important person is the one who is in front of you right now." At that moment, the most important person to the king was the young man in front of him. Likewise, the most important person to me is the one who is in front of me right now, the person who is talking to me in the same space with me.
Then the king asked again, "What is the most important thing to do?" The wise man answered, "Giving love and kindness to the person whom you consider to be the most important person?this is the most important thing in the world."
The most proper time
This story conveys an important message that the most meaningful and important thing in the world is to love the person in front of me right now. Though it is a short story, it suggests what we must do.
"When is the most proper time?" "Who is the most important person?" and "What is the most significant thing?" Let's suppose we are asked these three questions and think about answers. First, what is the most proper time for us to carry out the gospel work? It is right now.
Delay is futile. When a new year comes, people make new plans and resolutions, but their determination falters at the moment they think they will do it tomorrow. Time is made up of "nows." Tomorrow is the continuation of today. Now is the most suitable time for everything. Especially, the work of saving one's life and loving him should not be delayed until tomorrow or the day after tomorrow or next week or next year. That is the most urgent thing to do right now.
Lk 19:12-27『He said: "A man of noble birth went to a distant country to have himself appointed king and then to return. So he called ten of his servants and gave them ten minas. ‘Put this money to work,' he said, ‘until I come back.' . . . He was made king, however, and returned home. Then he sent for the servants to whom he had given the money, in order to find out what they had gained with it. The first one came and said, ‘Sir, your mina has earned ten more.' ‘Well done, my good servant!' his master replied. ‘Because you have been trustworthy in a very small matter, take charge of ten cities.' The second came and said, ‘Sir, your mina has earned five more.' His master answered, ‘You take charge of five cities.' Then another servant came and said, ‘Sir, here is your mina; I have kept it laid away in a piece of cloth.' . . . His master replied, ‘I will judge you by your own words, you wicked servant! . . .' Then he said to those standing by, ‘Take his mina away from him and give it to the one who has ten minas.' ‘Sir,' they said, ‘he already has ten!' He replied, ‘I tell you that to everyone who has, more will be given, but as for the one who has nothing, even what he has will be taken away . . .' "』
In the above parable, the master gave his servants one mina each and told them to put the money to work until he came back. Likewise, God entrusted us with the precious mina?the gospel?and told us to do the worthiest thing in the world with it. Our task is to create the most meaningful and valuable work with the gospel by preaching it to people all around the world.
When the master came back, he commended the one who gained ten minas with the one he had been given, and also the one who gained five more with it. However, he rebuked the one who just brought back the one mina. He did not use the mina he was given to benefit others. Neglecting the fact that "now is the right time to carry out his master's command," he put it off till tomorrow. When tomorrow came, he deferred it until the next day. He just postponed his duty like this, and did not do anything until his master came back.
The person who puts things off till tomorrow can commit such foolishness. We must remember this and faithfully carry out the mission entrusted to us right now. The most proper time to preach the gospel is this very moment.
The most important person
Who, then, is the most important person in the world to me? It is the person who is in front of me now, whom I have to save. For God has let that soul be here with me in order to take him or her to heaven together through me, and to make it serve as a test of my faith.
That person may be my husband or wife, my parents or child, my brother or sister, my relative or neighbor or friend. Giving God's love to him or her and saving his or her soul?this is the most important thing to do.
In the story aforesaid, the most important thing for the king was to save the life of the bleeding man who might die if he was left alone. Like the young man in the story, now there are many bleeding souls around us who will die if they are left alone. We must not be indifferent to them. God has never forsaken such poor souls.
Lk 19:10『"For the Son of Man came to seek and to save what was lost."』
God came to this earth to save mankind. There is no greater love than this. So, God has given us the mission of preaching the gospel, following in His footsteps, so that we may learn what true love is.
Preaching begins from the mindset of caring for others. If we do not care about others' salvation but give ourselves over to indolence, being self-centered and caring about "what others think of me," we are unable to bear the fruit of the gospel.
People say that he who only thinks of himself is an unhappy person, and that he who thinks not only of himself but also of others is a happy person. To a short-sighted person, it seems that sacrificing for others is a loss to him. However, if we think about it more deeply, we will realize that through our self-sacrificing efforts for others we will be loved and blessed by God and also be changed as the men of God, who are praised and honored by people while living in the world.
Let us lead many souls to the truth of life by obeying the will of God more faithfully. The most proper time is right now, and the most important person is the one who is in front of me right now.
The most important thing in the world
Saving the one who is in front of me right now, whoever the person is, is the most important thing in the world. If we give love and kindness to the one who is in front of me now?the most important person to me?and lead him or her to salvation and fill his or her heart with an eternal hope for heaven, there is no greater and more beautiful love than this in the world.
To put it plainly, it is "preaching"?the task of saving the souls, who are dying due to sin, through God's words of life. To seek and save the lost, God, who is the King of kings and Lord of lords, came to this earth.
Now we have been entrusted with the most important task which the Most Holy One did when He came to this earth. Not everyone has been given this precious task; God has entrusted it only to those whom He approves and loves (1 Th 2:4).
Though it may be difficult to save one soul by giving God's love to him, it is the most valuable thing. So Apostle Paul considered it to be the noblest thing and said he was in chains for that work (Phil 3:8; Eph 6:20). Like him, we should put our hearts and minds into the work of saving mankind which our Father and Mother have been doing, so They will be greatly pleased.
2 Ti 4:1-8, 17-18『In the presence of God and of Christ Jesus, who will judge the living and the dead, and in view of his appearing and his kingdom, I give you this charge: Preach the Word; be prepared in season and out of season; correct, rebuke and encourage?with great patience and careful instruction . . . But you, keep your head in all situations, endure hardship, do the work of an evangelist, discharge all the duties of your ministry. For I am already being poured out like a drink offering, and the time has come for my departure. I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day?and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing . . . But the Lord stood at my side and gave me strength, so that through me the message might be fully proclaimed and all the Gentiles might hear it . . .』
To be prepared in season and out of season means to do it right now. The Bible teaches that now is the most suitable time and we should always do the work of an evangelist and discharge all the duties of our ministry. This is the most meaningful and worthwhile work in the world.
Think of Apostle Paul who looked forward to the crown of righteousness at the end of his life without any regret and ran into the arms of God! What a wonderful life! Like Paul, we too should live such a wonderful life. Everything in the world is transient, but the things of the kingdom of God are eternal. Thinking of the everlasting joy in the eternal world, let us keep our faith and fulfill our duties as evangelists.
The future of mankind is entrusted to us
The most important time is right now. The most significant person to whom we should preach the good news of God is the one who is in front of me right now. And the most important thing in the world is to let the person know the good news of salvation and be saved. This is the greatest reason why God came to this earth, laying aside the glory of heaven and leaving His throne behind.
About 2,000 years ago, Jesus entrusted His disciples with the most noble thing in the world before He ascended into heaven, saying, "Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you." Just as Jesus said, let us lead many of the lost souls to salvation and all mankind to the kingdom of heaven. If everyone is saved and goes to the eternal heavenly home, there is nothing more to be desired.
This is the path we must go. To bring us to salvation, God our Father came to this earth and walked the path of the gospel and testified of the new Jerusalem, our Heavenly Mother, and prepared all the heavenly blessings and glory for us through the truth of the new covenant. For the everlasting glory of heaven, now let us go to Samaria and to the ends of the earth and eagerly preach the gospel of the new covenant, so that we will save the most important people and fulfill the most meaningful and important task in the world which God has commanded us to do.
The most proper time for everything is not tomorrow or next year, but right now. This very moment is precious. The future arrives as a string of current moments, a steady stream of "nows." If we frequently put things off until tomorrow, we will fail to do God's will and just bring one mina back like the foolish servant, doing nothing at all, when God comes back.
At this moment, let us pay attention to those around us, who are the most important people in the world to us. The one whom we have to save now is the most important person to us. If we always try to show God's love to him or her, being prepared in season and out of season, we will surely obtain good results. At this moment?the most proper time, let us faithfully perform this most meaningful and worthwhile ministry and bear much good fruit, so we will be greatly loved by God.
