The World Mission Society Church of God believes in God the Father and "God the Mother" according to the Bible _WMSCOG

Whenever We (WMSCOG) say that we believe in "God the Mother" as well as God the Father, many people are surprised to hear that. It is because they have some common stereotypes and conventional way of thinking about God.

One of things that many people misunderstand about the Bible is that there is only God the Father. However, the Bible clearly reveals that there exists "God the Mother" as well God the Father from the first page of the Bible.


Then God said, "Let us make man in our image, in our likeness, and let them rule over the fish of the sea...." So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them. (Genesis 1:26-27)


If there is only one God, God the Father, it should read ‘my image’ not ‘our image.’ In addition, only ‘male’ should have been created in the image of God the Father. But, is there only male created in the image of God? Isn’t there also ‘female’?

The fact that male and female were created in the image of God is the evidence that God’s image includes God the Father and "God the Mother". It’s very important to know the existence of God the Father and "God the Mother" because it’s prophesied that God the Father and "God the Mother" are to appear to give us the water of life in the last days.


The Spirit [God the Father] and the bride ["God the Mother"] say, "Come!" And let him who hears say, "Come!" Whoever is thirsty, let him come; and whoever wishes, let him take the free gift of the water of life. (Revelation 22:17)


Those who have met God the Father and "God the Mother" can receive the water of life. People who only know God the Father do not know God whom we must press on to know. The World Mission Society Church of God (WMSCOG) receives the water of life from the Spirit and the bride according to the words of the Bible.

So many people are familiar with the concept "God is only one". 

However, bilbe testifies both God the Father and "God the Mother". 

We, WMSCOG believes  in God the Father and God the Mother.To find the existence of "God the Mother",
let us study about the word "Elohim" first. 

Have you ever heard the word “Elohim”?

It’s actually the word for “God” that appears more than 2,500 times in the original Hebrew version of the Bible. But here’s the crazy part: it’s actually a plural word.

Just like “cherubim” is the plural form of “cherub” and “seraphim” is the plural form of “seraph” (types of angels mentioned in the Bible), 

Elohim is a plural form of El or Eloah (singular forms of “God”).

To add to the mystery, when God speaks on the very first page of the Bible, 

a plural pronoun is used:

Then God said, “Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness, so that they may rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky, over the livestock and all the wild animals, and over all the creatures that move along the ground.”

If you know another language, go ahead and check it out– 

I guarantee it is going to be plural no matter what translation or language you check.

But that doesn’t make sense. We have one God Almighty, right? Why would God say “us” and “our” to refer to Himself? Do you think God didn’t know proper grammar? Well, to understand better we just have to read the next verse:

So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; 

male and female he created them.

–Genesis 1:27

Male and female were made in the image of God. 

For a copy to be created, the original has to exist. 

That means there is a male image of God (God the Father)

and a female image of God (God the Mother).

But I thought the Bible said that there is only one God!

Well, that’s right– one Elohim God. 

That means there is one God, but God is actually two. 

Confused? It’s kind of like how one egg is composed of two parts — 

the yolk and the white. Or in one pair of shoes, there are two shoes. 

And one couple walking along the beach is actually two people. 

Makes sense now, right?

Even in English translations (you can check them all), 

you can see many examples of God speaking in the plural.

But the Lord came down to see the city and the tower that the men were building. The Lord said, “If as one people speaking the same language they have begun to do this, then nothing they plan to do will be impossible for them. Come, let us go down and confuse their language so they will not understand each other.”

…That is why it was called Babel — because there the Lord confused the language of the whole world.

–Genesis 11:5-7

It was God who confused the language of the people,

but when speaking about His (Their) plan to do this, God said “let us.”

Then I heard the voice of the LORD saying, “Whom shall I send? And who will go for us? And I said, “Here am I. Send me!”

–Isaiah 6:8

When looking for someone to testify God’s message, God said “Who will go for us?”

Actually, without understanding this basic fact that God is plural, 

it’s pretty difficult to understand the rest of the Bible.

 Why are human beings male and female?

 While people might think that this question is one for biologists, it was actually the focus of an international Bible seminar that I attended in South Korea last week.

 

I was one of more than 100 members of the World Mission Society Church of God from 25 countries — including Canada, the U.S., Australia, Singapore, Peru, Finland and England — who attended the event at the Go & Come Institute in Okcheon, Chungbook, along with about 700 locals.

Biblical evidence that supports the existence of a female Christian God was presented from the point of view of an aerospace engineer, an expert in international political relations and a professor with a phD in neuroscience.

 

Most Christian churches believe in one God, commonly described in male terms as the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, but the Church of God believes the Bible testifies that two Gods exist: God the Father and God the Mother.

 

In his keynote speech, General Pastor Kim Joo-cheol addressed one of the “enduring questions of the scripture” published by Reader’s Digest in the Mysteries of the Bible: Why does God say “Let us make man in our image, in our likeness,” during the creation in Genesis, instead of saying, “Let me?”

 

The church teaches that since the Bible testifies that men and women were both created in God’s own image, God actually has two images: male and female. In other words, there are two Gods – Heavenly Parents – who together created human beings in Their likeness.

 

The fact that there is no biological necessity for physical life to be given by mothers caused August Kruesi to wonder: what was God’s will in creating the human life system in this way?

 

In his presentation, the technical principal for aerospace at Aerojet Rocketdyne, a U.S. company that “provides propulsion and energetics technologies,” said that scientists have so far failed to discover the origin of life on Earth, or in space, while the Bible offers a clear answer.

 

While many people place their trust solely in science when they want to know where life came from, Mr. Kruesi pointed out that key steps in the “primordial soup” theory remain unexplained and impossible to recreate, and scientists have yet to find any signs of life beyond our planet.

 

Mr. Kruesi argued that God’s divine nature and the existence of God the Mother, the source of eternal life, is clearly shown through all creatures on Earth that require both male and female to reproduce. He believes that God created the world this way to testify to the existence of both a female Creator, and a male Creator.

 

Scientists have discovered that mitochondria — known as the energy factories of cells — are only passed down through the maternal line. God made it so that the “power source” for reproduction comes from mothers in order to further testify to the existence of a life-giving spiritual mother, Destinee L. Chambers said.

 

And God uses the hormones oxytocin and dopamine to deeply embed an intense maternal love in the psychological makeup of women from the moment of conception in order to teach human beings about the undying love God the Mother has for mankind, the professor of psychology at America International College said.

 

And because the Heavenly Mother is the embodiment of love and peace, She is the key to solving all of the world’s problems, Paul Richard Wilcox said.

 

As the Republic of Korea & Democratic People’s Republic of Korea Country Manager for United States Pacific Command based in Hawaii, Mr. Wilcox strives to find ways to promote peace and stability in the world. But the former fighter pilot, who spent 30 years serving as an active duty military officer, said he only started to develop patience, understanding and humility after he found out about God the Mother.

 

“Knowing the love of God the Mother brings the balance we seek,” he said.

 

Above all, the church members aspire to practice the love of God the Mother who teaches the importance of serving others with a humble mind, just as Christ did 2,000 years ago.

 

As a result, the church has been recognized for carrying out volunteer activities around the world with the devotional love of Mother. The church hosts blood drives, environmental cleanup campaigns and helps with relief efforts for victims of natural disasters.

 

When High River, Alta. was flooded last July, members from the Edmonton branch church drove down to help with the cleanup, and they gained a reputation for being able to clear a basement in “record time,” the CBC reported.

 

About 400 members from the New Jersey and New York branch churches gathered to help with disaster relief in areas devastated by Hurricane Sandy in October 2012. Bergen County Police Detective Gidget Petry was very impressed by the members united effort, said Saira Ahmed, a representative form the Ridgewood, N.J. branch. Now, the police office has teamed up with the church to give 1,200 members special emergency response training on Dec. 1, so that they will be ready to help local officials in the event of another disaster.

 

The Church of God has received about 1,000 awards for its volunteer efforts in nations around the world.

 

The members are motivated to change their personalities and serve their communities because of their belief in God the Mother, who guides the church, and has come as a human being to set an example for mankind — just like Jesus Christ did 2,000 years ago — Mr. Wilcox said.

 

The Church of God was established in 1964 in South Korea by Ahnsahnghong, who members believe fulfilled the prophecies about second coming Christ who comes again as a man. The church started in a small house in South Korea, but since the world evangelism began in 1997, 2,200 churches have been established in 150 countries around the world, and more than 1.86 million members believe Ahnsahnghong is the second coming Christ who restored the Biblical new covenant that Jesus preached and practiced, but was changed after the Apostolic Age.

 

“Jesus was a Jew, and then we make this big leap to Catholic. What happened in the middle?” Jeffrey Jacques had wondered during his college years. Without a satisfactory answer to that question, he stopped attending regular worship services for about 15 years. He was “on the way to not believing in God,” when the electrical engineer started studying the Bible at the Church of God in Washington, D.C., and found the answers to his questions.

 

The Church of God emphasizes the importance of worshiping God according to the example that Jesus set 2,000 years ago, that is recorded in the Bible, rather than following traditions that were adopted by churches after 100 AD.

 

Mr. Jacques said he was grateful to find a church that is based “purely on the word of God,” and that keeps the same seven feasts of the new covenant that Jesus kept according to the Bible, instead of celebrations that are commonly known to have pagan origins, such as Christmas.

 

And decades after he asked his father why they go to church on Sunday, even though the Bible says that Jesus read the scriptures on the Sabbath day, Mr. Jacques said he was amazed that even the Catholic church had acknowledged that the church’s doctrines contradict Biblical teachings.

 

“You may read the Bible from Genesis to Revelation, and you will not find a single line authorizing the sanctification of Sunday. The Scriptures enforce the religious observance of Saturday, a day which we never sanctify,” James Gibbons, archbishop of Baltimore, wrote in The Faith of Our Fathers in 1876.

 

While most Christians hold worship services on Sundays, the Church of God keeps the Christian Sabbath as well as the new covenant Passover on the fourteenth day of the first month of the sacred calendar, just like the Bible testifies Jesus did.

 

John Dyck remembers asking his Christian pastor why his church celebrated eucharist when Jesus said to keep the Passover as a “lasting ordinance.” But the then-10-year-old boy was told not to worry about it.

 

He stopped attending regular services during college and for 25 years visited a church only a handful of times. But about eight years ago, he was amazed to hear about the church that actually celebrates the Passover and the other feasts of God that were restored by Ahnsahnghong.

 

“I get to follow the perfect truth,” he said.

But the greatest of these is...... LOVE

For Christians, the ultimate goal of faith is salvation. To achieve this goal, the hope of the kingdom of heaven and faith based on such hope are needed. In addition, the practice of faith is the love toward God and neighbors. Therefore, love is possible only when there are the hope of the kingdom of heaven and faith behind it. God considered love as the greatest virtue of believers.

 

And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.(1 Corinthians 13:13)

 Then, can those who have love only achieve the goal of salvation? The answer is ‘No.’ The Apostle John emphasized faith as of the most importance to get salvation. … that whoever believes in him may have eternal life. (John 3:15)

 However, it’s hard to reach salvation with faith alone. Today’s Christians fall in this error. An expression of faith requires the hope of the kingdom of heaven.

 so that, having been justified by his grace, we might become heirs having the hope of eternal life. (Titus 3:7)

 That is, we cannot enter the kingdom of heaven without having the hope of eternal life. ‘The greatest of these are love,’ ‘whoever believes in him may have eternal life,’ ‘we might become heirs having the hope of eternal life’: Among these words, what should we follow to get salvation? Since the greatest is love, is it enough to have love alone? Or, is it okay to have only faith since it’s written, ‘whoever believes in him may have eternal life’?

 We must think about organic combination among faith, hope and love. If faith and hope are missing from love, it’s not different from the one who eats sodium (Na) and chlorine (Cl) after separating salt (NaCl) into each element (Na and Cl.) When edible salt is divided into sodium and chlorine, they become harmful materials. Therefore, we can achieve the goal of salvation by practicing love based on faith and hope.

 In addition, there is one thing we should remember: Love toward God must be go first with regard to the practice of love. Loving neighbors based on such love is the whole duty of Christians.

 Jesus replied: ” ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.” (Matthew 22:37-40) 

Are there any Christians who do not love God? However, love with lips only is not love which loves God. 

If you love me, you will obey what I command. (John 14:15) 

Salvation begins with obeying God’s commandments. Obeying what God commanded enables us to love Him and is the top priority of believers who wish to enter the kingdom of heaven

Christ Ahnsahnghong and God the Mother restored the God's all commandments which leads us to the kingdom of heaven.  The World Mission Society Church of God is the only Church which has God's truth.

Who is The Source of the Water of Life?

How much is the worth of air?

How much is the worth of water?

Air and water are very important for our life

So we couldn't count the worth of them

How about the water of life which giving us eternal life?

And who give it to us?

Let's take a look

In the Bible, the water of life refers to the truth of life through which we can have eternal life (Amos 8:11.) Only God has authority to give us the water of life. It was Jehovah who was the spring of living water in the age of the Father.

O LORD, the hope of Israel, all who forsake you will be put to shame. Those who turn away from you will be written in the dust because they have forsaken the LORD, the spring of living water. (Jeremiah 17:13)

However, Jesus was the source of the water of life in the age of the Son.

Jesus answered her, “If you knew the gift of God and who it is that asks you for a drink, you would have asked him and he would have given you living water.” (John 4:10)

Then, who is the spring of the living water in this last age of the Holy Spirit?

The Spirit and the bride say, “Come!” And let him who hears say, “Come!” Whoever is thirsty, let him come; and whoever wishes, let him take the free gift of the water of life. (Revelation 22:17)

In the age of the Father and in the age of the Son, there was only one God who was the source of the water of life respectively. But in the age of the Holy Spirit, two Gods -- the Spirit and the bride -- give us the water of life. The Holy Father, the Holy Son and the Holy Spirit are God in the Trinity. Who is the bride? Some claim that the bride is ‘the saints.’ But only God can give us the water of life.

He said to me: “It is done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. To him who is thirsty I will give to drink without cost from the spring of the water of life. He who overcomes will inherit all this, and I will be his God and he will be my son. (Revelation 21:6-7)

It is our God who gives to drink without cost from the spring of the water of life. Therefore, it’s a false claim that the bride is the saints. Then, who is the bride who gives us the water of life in the last days.

One of the seven angels who had the seven bowls full of the seven last plagues came and said to me, “Come, I will show you the bride, the wife of the Lamb.” And he carried me away in the Spirit to a mountain great and high, and showed me the Holy City, Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God. (Revelation 21:9-10)

It’s written that the bride or the wife of the Lamb, who gives us the water of life, was Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven. Heavenly Mother has not appeared out of the blue, suddenly, all at once. The Bible testifies to God the Father and God the Mother from the first Chapter.

Then God said, “Let us make man in our image, in our likeness, and let them rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over the livestock, over all the earth, and over all the creatures that move along the ground.” So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them. (Genesis 1:26-27)

Male and female were created in the image of God, which proves that God the Father and God the Mother exist in God’s image. And in the last page of the Bible, it’s prophesied that the Spirit and the bride will give us the water of life. Obviously, the water of life cannot be found in the churches that do not know the Spirit and the bride in this age when the Spirit and the bride give us the water of life. The World Mission Society Church of God (WMSCOG) believes in God the Father and God the Mother who have come as the Spirit and the bride according to the prophecies of the Bible, and preaches the truth of eternal life or the water of life.

Mother’s long-sleeve clothes

Frankly, I couldn’t understand why my mother had to wear long sleeves all the time.

Even throughout sizzling hot summers, she just had to wear long sleeve clothes.

Since she was satisfied feeding her children rather than herself, all day long she worked in the field for income.

All those sufferings that she had gone through under the sun created lentigines on her arms, like a tattoo.

Leaving all the heaven’s glory behind, Heavenly Mother dwells with us, all covered with filthy sins.

She forgets all about Her pain when She sees Her children smile.

I now want to realize Her sufferings concealed behind her smiles.

Like Jacob and Issac, I want to be Her joy and Her smile.

Delivering happiness with a performance for fifty elders
(30th of May, Ampang) Church of God located in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia, delivered happiness for 50 elders through a special event, in their visit in Ampang Old Folk's Home.
The members of the World Mission Society Church of God (General Paster Joo-Cheol Kim) visited the old folk's home and warmed up the people around them, holding a feast for the elders.
Performing marial arts; Kung-fu, Hapkido, and a vignette(finding the true parents with a small bag), the Church of God members got rid of boredom and monotonous contents that the elders had living in the old folk's home, and also enhanced their pleasure with nutritious drinks, korean sweet red-bean porridges, and homemade bread.
Secretary of the welfare committee in Ampang Chia Soon Seong said, the elders had a great time with the performance and wished the members of the Church of God to revisit.
“The elders didn’t even bother going to the restroom. They were mesmerized by the Kung-fu, vignette, and singing.”
One of the members of the Church of God Chia Ling Ling said, “It was a great opportunity sharing happiness with the elders.”
Learn the wisdom of life through the elders
She also said, “Since we can learn the wisdom of life through the elders, they deserve to be respected.”
The Church of God was founded by Ahnsahnghong in 1964, and including the present church in Malaysia, there are currently 2,200 churches around 170 countries.
Not only the Church of God does missionary works, but it also hosts many environmental cleanup activities, blood drives, and visits old folk’s homes and orphanages, all based on God’s love.

We have to discern the time

Many people desire new age 

But they hesitate to prepare and to change their mind and thinking

Most of the people who wait God are same like them

They wait their Savior to come

But They wait Him in their ways not His way

A time for the Son ended

Nothing on the earth lasts forever. In other words, there is a time for everything. If something was sowed, there is a time to reap. Although a building was robustly built, there is a time to destroy. How about our lives? There is a time to be born and a time to die. All happiness, which seems to last everlastingly, is to be ended some day. The Bible depicts this truth exactly:

There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under heaven: a time to be born and a time to die, a time to plant and a time to uproot (Ecclesiastes 3:1-2)

For easier understanding, a ‘time’ can be compared to the food expiration date which indicates the freshness of food. Food past its expiration date might be corrupt. Therefore it’s important to buy food after checking its expiration date. Likewise, there is also ‘a time’ for the Redemption Work of God we believe in.

Please think this carefully: it would have been enough if God the Father Jehovah alone had continued His work to the end of the world. However, why did God the Son Jesus appear? The Jews, who only called the name ‘Jehovah,’ were not be able to believe in Jesus. But, Jesus came as the Savior who would save mankind according to the prophecies of the Bible. The Apostle Peter witnessed Him as follows:

He [Jesus: GNT] is ” ‘the stone you builders rejected, which has become the capstone. ‘ Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved.” (Acts 4:11-12)

Isn’t it strange? Peter confidently said, “There is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved.” In the Old Testament, it’s clearly written: “I, even I, am the LORD (Jehovah), and apart from me there is no savior.” (Isaiah 43:11) Peter, the best disciple of Jesus, must have aware of this fact. Regarding this matter, the answer can be found in the word ‘time’. The above verses mean that the Savior of the Son is only Jesus in the age of the Son and people are not allowed to call other name than Jesus in that age.

God Jehovah, who appeared in the Old Testament, was the Savior of the age of the Father. Jesus, who appeared in the New Testament, was the Savior of the age of the Son. When the time for the age of the Father was expired and the age was changed to the age of the Son, the name of the Savior was also change from Jehovah to Jesus. Therefore, people could not be saved any longer with the name of ‘Jehovah’ in the age of the Son. It’s because there is a time for the name of the Savior. For this reason, Jesus said, “Until now you have not asked for anything in my name. Ask and you will receive, and your joy will be complete.” (John 16:24)

Now, the age of the Father and the age of the Son were expired. Today, we are living in the age of the Holy Spirit. Then, do you think the name of the Savior of the age of the Holy Spirit is still ‘Jesus’ with whom many people are familiar? ‘Jesus’ was the name of the Savior of the age of the Son. We cannot get salvation any longer with the name ‘Jesus’ in this age of the Holy Spirit we are currently living. Once again, it’s because the age of the Son ended.

Him who overcomes I will make a pillar in the temple of my God. Never again will he leave it. I will write on him the name of my God and the name of the city of my God, the new Jerusalem, which is coming down out of heaven from my God; and I will also write on him my new name. (Revelation 3:12)

Are you still calling Jesus, the Savior of the age of the Son, without knowing Christ Ahnsahnghong, the new name of Jesus or the Savior of the age of the Holy Spirit? 2000 years ago, the Jews also did. They called the name ‘Jehovah’, the Savior of the age of the Father, without discerning the time. We know the results of them. We can be saved when we discern the time.

Hypocrites! You know how to interpret the appearance of the earth and the sky. How is it that you don’t know how to interpret this present time? (Luke 12:56)

ESSAY-Through the Passover, the promise for all mankind (WMSCOG)

A few days ago, I experienced the power of Passover promised by Heavenly Mother(WMSCOG).  I have never seen it myself but experienced the very dizzy moment indeed.

I went to help husband of one of my spiritual sisters doing and the job was to pack fish for export by automated system.  Since the system was firstly introduced on the domestic side, some officials who were working by hand downstairs came over and took some pictures curiously there.
At the same time when pouring all fish into the bulk tank by forklift, once the box was uploaded to the conveyer, then the vinyl was put automatically and the fish was weighed automatically.  After that, the fish was put into the basket and moved on the conveyer, and a group of two finished the job and the packaged box was released to the frozen container immediately.  

My job is to spread the vinyl under the plastic basket.  When my partner cleared the seat for a moment, I was passing by his seat but my apron caught in the conveyer where the plastic baskets were put.  Screaming in surprise, my voice was lost in the machine noise.  
In spite of screaming so hard over and over again, being up a stump, my body with the apron was being taken toward the conveyer.   I tried to take off the apron but couldn't untie it since it was tied up firmly. 

Looking back on it now, I still feel dizzy at the thought of the accident.  No matter how hard I think, it was only by Heavenly Mother’s protection.  Even though Her children made an error carelessly, Mother was always with us me and helped us out in something children couldn't do because it was so dangerous. 
Meanwhile, it was untied by a miracle and at that moment, through God’s wisdom; I also untied a string of my apron hanging around my neck.  Then, my apron continued to be taken to conveyer but I could just stop dead in my tracks.  I had a close call on a very big terrible accident.


While others said they couldn't properly see and hear because of noisy machine sound, one female employee clearly saw what happened and she herself was very much surprised.   While stopping the machine and taking off the apron, I preached to her about Heavenly Mother and keeping the Passover to be protected from all disasters happening.   When leaving for the day, I also gave her a monthly magazine, ‘Elohist’.
On my way home from work, I talked to two youths about what happened in the day and preached about Passover.  When I got home, my thanks to Father and Mother was being made constantly until I went to bed.  There was nothing for me to say but I thank you, Father and Mother.

The one who never takes off eyes on children who keep the Passover, following Mother‘s teachings, is very our Heavenly Father and Heavenly Mother.

Christ Ahnsahnghong and Heavenly Mother

Revelation 22:17 The Spirit and the Bride say, “Come!” And let him who hears say, “Come!” Whoever is thirsty, let him come; and whoever wishes, let him take the free gift of the water of life.

Two thousand years ago, Jesus Christ came to this earth and established the Church of God under one teaching and one truth: the gospel of the new covenant.  Two thousand years later, there are over 850 different denominations of Christianity alone, each holding to different doctrines and different teachings, leading to much confusion about the correct way to follow Christ.

According to the prophecies of the Bible, Second Coming of Jesus, Christ Ahnsahnghong, has come to the earth and established the World Mission Society Church of God. Since the Church of God’s establishment in 1964, it has become the beacon of light to those thirsting for the truth of the Bible and the original teachings of Christ that disappeared during the dark ages. The Bible also prophesied that when Christ appears a second time, He will remind us of everything He established at His first coming and lead us into all truths:

John 14:26 “But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you.”

John 16:12-15 “I have much more to say to you, more than you can now bear. But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come. He will bring glory to me by taking from what is mine and making it known to you. All that belongs to the Father is mine. That is why I said the Spirit will take from what is mine and make it known to you.”


After establishing the Church of God and restoring the gospel of the new covenant, Christ Ahnsahnghong revealed the last mystery of the Bible that was hidden for ages and generations: the truth about New Jerusalem, who is God the Mother. Since Christ Ahnsahnghong ascended to heaven after accomplishing His mission of revealing the lost truth, our New Jerusalem Mother has been leading the gospel work of the Church of God to deliver the word of God from Zion to the world, just as was prophesied in the Bible:

Micah 4:1-2 In the last days the mountain of the LORD’s temple will be established as chief among the mountains; it will be raised above the hills, and peoples will stream to it. Many nations will say, “Come, let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob. He will teach us his ways, so that we may walk in his paths.” The law will go out from Zion, the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.

“I follow Mother.” These words left by Christ Ahnsahnghong are engraved in the hearts of the members of the Church of God who faithfully keep the commandments of God and follow the example of Christ.  At the core of the Church of God, together with the new covenant, are the “Teachings of Mother.”  Through Her teachings, the members of the Church of God serve their neighbors to share the love of God with everyone.

The World Mission Society Church of God is sending an invitation to the world to come and learn about the Saviors who have appeared in this age and receive salvation through the new covenant.

Where is your God whom could save you?

Is your God in the Bible?
He is the one I know very well and love the most like my life. I went to the place of our appointment and greeted him very nicely. However, his response was cold. He even said, “I don’t know you.” How would you feel if you find yourself in such a situation? You will surely feel embarrassed and might be terribly disappointed by his response.

What if the one who didn’t recognize you is “God”? You surely will not want to imagine that. Unfortunately however, it’s not just an imagination. It must happen to someone in reality.

“Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and in your name drive out demons and perform many miracles?’ Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers [you workers of lawlessness: ESV]!’ (Matthew 7:21-23

It’s the word of Jesus in front of the door of the kingdom of heaven. To whom will He say, “I never knew you. Away from me”? To those who did not know God? No. Jesus will say to those who had special faith and loved Jesus, so as to say “Lord, Lord” and to act as the prophets who prophesied in the name of Jesus and performed many miracles.

Why will Jesus ignore and expel people with such faith from the kingdom of heaven?

We know that we have come to know him if we obey his commands. The man who says, “I know him,” but does not do what he commands is a liar, and the truth is not in him. But if anyone obeys his word, God’s love is truly made complete in him. This is how we know we are in him: Whoever claims to live in him must walk as Jesus did. (1 John 2:3-6)

Faith starts from knowing God. Believing in God without knowing Him is no more than blind faith. Those who do not obey His commands neither have faith nor know God. The God who is in the Bible acknowledges that we are His children if we observe God’s commandments such as the Sabbath and the Passover. However, many people follow man-made commandments such as Sunday, Christmas and cross-idolatry. Which God do they believe in? The God believed by such people is another God not found in the Bible.

We are walking the path of faith with an expectation of a joyful meeting with God. If you wish to be welcomed by God someday, you must seek “God in the Bible.”

Choose the path of life

Christ Ahnsahnghong and God the Mother shows us the way of life.

God has made us known the path of life to save our souls.

You have made known to me the path of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence, with eternal pleasures at your right hand. (Psalms 16:11)

But, the problem is that there is also a path that leads us to death. Moreover, the path of death seems right to a man.

There is a way that seems right to a man, but in the end it leads to death. (Proverbs 14:12)

It's not easy to tell from the path of life from the path of death with our common sense. For this reason, God said that we must forsake our own thoughts and obey God's thoughts.

Let the wicked forsake his way and the evil man his thoughts. Let him turn to the LORD, and he will have mercy on him, and to our God, for he will freely pardon. "For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways," declares the LORD. "As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts. (Isaiah 55:7-9)

Then, what is the way of life God has showed us?

This is what the LORD says: "Stand at the crossroads and look; ask for the ancient paths, ask where the good way is, and walk in it, and you will find rest for your souls. But you said, 'We will not walk in it.' (Jeremiah 6:16)

Remember the height from which you have fallen! Repent and do the things you did at first [the first works: KJV]. If you do not repent, I will come to you and remove your lampstand from its place. (Revelation 2:5)

Keeping and following the teachings that Jesus granted us at first -- it is the path of life. Some claim, "Isn't it better to celebrate Christmas than not to celebrate any day although it was the birthday of sun-god?” Others think it's better to keep Sunday rather than to keep Saturday which is the Sabbath day because most people rest on Sunday and more people can come to God. There are also people that it doesn't matter to erect a cross because they remember the sacrifice of Christ whenever they see the cross although it was once used as an execution tool and it was even used as a symbol of pagan religion.

But, there are no verses in the Bible which indicate that Jesus was born on December 25th, which specify that the Sabbath was changed to Sunday, or which teach us to erect the cross. The teaching Jesus taught originally and showed us as an example is the new covenant including the Sabbath day and the Passover.

Please do not forget the words of God: "There is a way that seems right to a man, but in the end it leads us to death." Any other gospel that deviates from the path of life is mere the path of death whatever people make any excuses. We should forsake our thoughts and acknowledge the ancient path is the good way, and then repent and do the first works: it's the path of life.

The reason it’s written that God ‘alone’ created the heavens and the earth while two God did

The Bible says that God the Father and God the Mother created the heavens and the earth.

Then God [Elohim] said, "Let us make man in our image, in our likeness, and let them rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over the livestock, over all the earth, and over all the creatures that move along the ground." So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them. (Genesis 1:26-27)

In Genesis Chapter 1 which described the process of the Creation, God is referred to as ‘Elohim,’ the plural form. In addition, the plural pronoun ‘Us’ was used. If there were only one God, God should been referred to as the singular noun ‘El’ or ‘Eloah,’ and the singular pronoun ‘Me’ should been used. God the Creator is not only one. From the passage “Male and female were created in the image of God,” we can understand that there are two Gods: God the Father and God the Mother.However, in other verse, it’s written that God ‘alone’ created the heavens and the earth.

I am the LORD, who has made all things, who alone stretched out the heavens, who spread out the earth by myself (Isaiah 44:24)

Why is it written that God ‘alone’ created the heavens and the earth in the book of Isaiah while it’s written that two Gods did in the book of Genesis? Is one of the two verses wrong? Or, is the Bible contradictory? No. God let us know the reason through Adam and Eve, the first man and woman, who were created in the image of God.

For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and they will become one flesh. (Genesis 2:24)It’s obvious that Adam and Eve are two individuals, who existed as a man and a woman respectively. However, it’s written that Adam and Eve will be united and become one flesh. Therefore, in the Bible, it’s referred to as one man or Adam as the representative when mentioning Adam and Eve together.

Nevertheless, death reigned from the time of Adam to the time of Moses, even over those who did not sin by breaking a command, as did Adam, who was a pattern of the one to come. But the gift is not like the trespass. For if the many died by the trespass of the one man [Adam]… (Romans 5:14-15)It was not just Adam alone who committed the sin of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. Both Adam and Eve ate from the tree of the knowledge; moreover Eve did first. However, the Bible wrote the sin of the tree of the knowledge as that of one man. It’s because Adam and Eve are considered one, being united, and Adam is referred to as the representative. This shows the reason it’s written that God ‘alone’ created the heavens and the earth, by uniting God the Father and God the Mother.

Adam and Eve are the first man and woman, who were created in the image of God the Father and God the Mother. God expressed the sin of Adam and Eve as that of ‘one man’ and referred to Adam as the representative of the two. In the same way, while God the Father and God the Mother performed the Creation together, it’s expressed that God ‘alone’ did and God the Father is presented as the representative of the Creation Work.

Some people deny the holy divine nature of two Gods seen through what has been made, without knowing the profound meaning of the Bible. However, the Bible clearly testifies to God the Father and God the Mother from the first Chapter of Genesis to the last Chapter of Revelation.

Is World Mission Society Church Of God a Cult?

There are lots of harmful information and false videos of WMSCOG on the Internet. 

But they are liars. Don't be deceived from them.

World Mission Society Church Of God Is Not A Cult!!

 We know how dangerous religious hatred is through an example of Anders Behring Breivik who killed 77 people. Tolerance is important because it leads to peaceful co-existence between different people and groups. Religious hatred happens when people do not understand other religions. Unfortunately, there people and groups that spread religious hatred towards the World Mission Society Church of God (WMSCOG) with false information.

 For example, you might have encountered the name “Steven Hassan” while searching information on the Church of God. He posted a few videos regarding the Church. He is slandering the World Mission Society Church of God with false testimonials of so-called ex-members.  The former members who appear in his video are telling something not taught by the Church .

Steven Hassan is a self-proclaimed “Cult Expert.” The Cult Expert is not a title given by a school or a governmental agency. It’s merely a self-proclaimed title, even though it contains a word “Expert” in it. He is a mental health counselor and his knowledge in religion is limited. Mr. Hassan is distorting the teachings of the World Mission Society Church of God by mixing the doctrines of the Unification Church (aka Moonies.) Does he have something to do with the Church of God? No, he has nothing to do with the Church. Then, why does Steven Hassan attack the World Mission Society Church of God with false information? It’s clear that he is trying to market his books by creating religious hatred towards specific religions.

 Mr. Hassan uses his model called “BITE” to brand the World Mission Society Church of God as a destructive cult. As you see from the above video, the BITE Model is not based on the Bible at all. Is it reasonable to judge whether a religious group is a cult or not using non-Biblical tools? The only standard should be the Bible because the Bible testifies about the Savior (John 5:39.)

 Opposers claim that the Church of God is breaking families. However, such claim is also a mere lie. Please refer to Section 5 of this page for this issue. You will understand that their arguments are false if you read the English version of the newspaper report. Please beware: the examiningthewmscog site and so-called Cult Experts destroy your families by creating religious hatred towards the World Mission Society Church of God with false and non-Biblical information. They distort the history of the Church of the God and spread lies about the Church. 

 The World Mission Society Church of God observes the new covenant by following the examples of Jesus. The Church of God also believes in Christ Ahnsahnghong and God the Mother as the Savior of this Holy Spirit age according to the Bible (Revelation 22:17.) It’s hard to understand the mysteries of the Bible with our physical eyes. If you look into the Bible, you will know who Christ Ahnsahnghong is.
