Church members spent about three weeks gathering the supplies. Oklahoma City Mayor Mick Cornett came in support of the donation.

At Oakridge Elementary, the children and their families often don't have the means to get adequate supplies for a successful learning environment, according to the school's principal.

Church members donated more than 10 bottles of hand sanitizer, 50 packs of printer paper, 50 boxes of crayons, 60 binders, 300 folders, 1,000 pens, 1,000 highlighters and markers, 2,500 pencils, 3,000 pieces of construction paper and much more to the school.

The World Mission Society Church of God was founded in 1964 and has 2,500 churches in 175 countries. The church not only believes in God the Father, but also God the Mother according to the testimony of the Bible. Its branch churches participate in volunteer events throughout the year to promote and spread the love of God the Father and God the Mother to all mankind.
