WMSCOG, AMSTERDAM NURSING HOME VISIT

Members from the Church of God were a bit more yellow than normal when they swooped into the Amsterdam Nursing Home to deliver the love of Heavenly Mother, New Jerusalem.

In just an hour, the Upper West Side nursing home awoke with excitement as members filled the home with their bright smiles, yellow shirts and this time, yellow scarves.

Interacting with the residents, members from World Mission Society Church of God held performances, played bingo and enjoyed a video to put a smile on the faces of all the residents who attended.

Catering to the residents’ taste, the members had a tap dance performance and multiple singing performances with songs from the era the residents grew up in. “I Will Survive” was a hit to many residents as they danced, smiled and felt relieved at the sound of the tune.

The end of the event got even brighter when the members presented each resident with the gift of a yellow pashmina scarf, a thank you to the residents for allowing the members to share the love of God the Mother with them.

The members of the Church of God put into the practice the teaching of Heavenly Mother: It is more blessed to give love than to receive, as God always gives love.
